WHO WE ARE
Vellox was established by a multidisciplinary team bringing together decades of experience in invention, engineering, academia and applied technology, combining expertise across mechanical, electrical, marine and industrial systems.
An extensive portfolio of patents and patent applications supporting VELLOX technology development.
Our team uses advanced AI platforms and specialized software to support research, design analysis and engineering development.
Computer simulations and materials evaluation help assess design options, refine components and guide prototype development.
Combined expertise across mechanical, electrical, marine and industrial systems supports integrated technology development.
A practical emphasis on reliability, resilience and mission-oriented engineering.
At the center of Vellox’s technology portfolio is Remora™, its patented and patent-pending electromagnetic prime-mover architecture. All pending claims covering the technology in Vellox’s principal U.S. patent application have been allowed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Vellox is advancing these technologies toward industrial prototype development, independent performance validation and commercialization, with an initial focus on independent power for Data & AI infrastructure and integrated industrial systems.
Designed in the United States and Europe. Developed for U.S. commercialization and manufacturing.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Vellox’s technology-development program brings together academic research, specialized electronics engineering and advanced sensing technologies to support the Remora™ control architecture and its progression toward an industrial prototype.
Research associated with the dedicated Remora™ CPU and control architecture has included a formal relationship with the Multi-functional Integrated System Technology (MIST) Center at the University of Florida, initiated around the development, testing and evaluation of microchip technology for the Remora™ CPU and control system. A Confidential Disclosure Agreement executed with the University of Florida Board of Trustees established the framework for exchanging confidential technical information and exploring potential research with the NSF I/UCRC MIST Center.
Building on this R&D foundation, Vellox and a specialized Central Florida electronics design and manufacturing company have established initial design and testing parameters for the dedicated Remora™ CPU and its control electronics. The development path runs from electronic design and verification through prototype fabrication, testing and integration into the industrial Remora™ prototype.
The Remora™ control architecture incorporates continuous torque and rotational-speed monitoring. A formal technical relationship, established under NDA with Denmark-based Sensitivus Gauge, explores contactless torque and RPM sensing technologies that give the Remora™ CPU real-time operating data for monitoring and control of the prime mover and its interaction with the electric power generator.
Connecting academic R&D with specialized Florida engineering and manufacturing as the technology progresses toward industrial validation and commercialization.
VELLOX maintains a growing international portfolio of granted patents, USPTO-allowed patent claims and pending patent applications covering Remora™ and related electromagnetic power technologies.
U.S. Patent Application No. 18/689,414, published as US 2025/0141284 A1. The United States Patent and Trademark Office has allowed all pending claims, which protect core elements of the Remora™ electromagnetic prime-mover architecture and its application in driving electric power generators.
Dutch Patent NL2017352.
Additional applications cover modular electromagnetic power generation, control systems and related technologies.
